Beef ground recall

MINNEAPOLIS - A Minnesota meatpacker has recalled about 188,000 pounds of ground beef patties and some other products because of E. coli bacteria concerns.
So far this year over 28 million pounds of beef products have been recalled due to possible contamination with E. coli O157:H7. Most recently, American Foods Group, LLC, a Green Bay, Wisconsin firm, recalled 48 tons of ground beef products.
A company from Detroit has voluntarily recalled about 13,150 pounds of various cuts of ground beef and steak products that may be contaminated with E. coli bacteria, the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Saturday.
