Chicken Run is a 2000 stop-motion animation British film made by the Aardman Animations studios (which produced the Oscar-winning Wallace and Gromit films).

This is the original system employed by the Termite Farming Project to collect some funds. Their motto is "Converting garbage into food", and there are a few technical issues to be solved before termite farms can start turning green residues and wood into chicken and fish feed. You can also buy some dried termites or sponsor an experiment.
