Organic foods are produced according to certain production standards. For crops, it means they were grown without the use of conventional pesticides, artificial fertilizers, human waste, or sewage sludge, and that they were processed without ionizing radiation or food additives. For animals, it means they were reared without the routine use of antibiotics and without the use of growth hormones. In most countries, organic produce must not be genetically modified.Organic food production is legally regulated. Currently, the United States, the European Union, Japan and many other countries require producers to obtain organic certification in order to market food as organic.Historically, organic farms have been relatively small family-run farms — which is why organic food was once only available in small stores or farmers' markets. However, since the early 1990s organic food has had growth rates of around 20% a year, far ahead of the rest of the food industry, in both developed and developing nations. As of today organic food accounts for 1-2% of food sales worldwide. Future growth is expected to range from 10-50% annually depending on the country. (see facts and statistics below)

Cuban food menu

Growing Up in Miami was a very interesting experience because for the most part you were surrounded by Cubans who exiled from Cuba. So you would eat Cuban food, dance to Cuban music, hear stories of how beautiful it was and how one day we would return to see for ourselves.

Living near Miami, it was bound to happen that one of my end-of-year parties implied the presence of a large number of Cuban-Americans. I shall not mention the exquisite food, the incessant laughter and the suggestive dancing, but only the clues that took me to solve the mystery of Atlantis...

The second one also has the no bebe, ni fuma lines, but includes ni goza which means that he doesn't have fun and ni come which means that he doesn't eat. I don't know about fun, but you can ignore the part about eating. I confirmed with Huckabee that Mormons do, in fact, consume food. Don't mind the part about the rabo ("tail") too.

Cubans brave enough to wear a bracelet with that word. The campaign focuses a little more light on the apartheid-like situation in Cuba wherein the best food and hotels are only made available to tourists. bucl

Cubans have a ration card for food but can buy jets ;-)
