Pronounced sa-by-dee, SbyDee is one of my Atlanta favorites for Thai food. This restaurant on 10th Street is easy to miss, but not easy to forget. The menu offers a variety of traditional Thai foods and each meal can be made with tofu, making this restaurant a vegetarian and vegan heaven.

Atlanta is a great place to be a vegetarian or vegan. There are many restaurants offering a wide variety of meatless, vegetarian and/or vegan cuisine, from Mediterranian to Asian, soul food to American Southwestern. Since being in Atlanta, I’ve been suggested by several to give a try to a local favorite. A non-chain joint, because non-chain joints server food with love, called Fat Matt’s Rib Shack. It’s not a very big. It’s holed up in a building the size of two and a half trailer homes. Small yet always has a line of people that leads to the outside.

This decadent holiday is also a favorite because of its lavish carnival balls, formal parties and risqué behavior. Every year 'Nawlins is flooded with natives and visitors alike all ready to enjoy the food, costumes and parades.
