Panera Bread is once again a sponsor of the Hoops for Hope charity to benefit breast cancer research. The event is hosted by Kay Yow, North Carolina State women’s basketball head coach, and will be held February 10 at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, N.C.

Panera Bread Co. has recently implemented a supposedly family friendly Internet browsing policy for at least some, if not all, of their 1168 bakery-cafes. This policy bans visiting sites such as YouTube, Blogger, PhotoBucket, and Imageshack.

Panera Bread has been awarded three 2008 Maggy Awards from Cary Magazine. Results were base on online votes from Cary Magazine readers.

Upon entering this particular Panera Bread location, I was greeted by an employee from across the counter…not what I was typically accustom to from previous visits to other locations. Next, as I approach the counter where they display the muffins, bagels, scones and such, this lady pops out of no-where as if by magic and greets me once more.
