The Hoatzin (Opisthocomus hoazin), also known as the Hoactzin, Stinkbird, or Canje "Pheasant", is an unusual species of tropical bird found in swamps, riverine forest and mangrove of the Amazon and the Orinoco delta in South America. It is the only member of the genus Opisthocomus, which means 'ones with long hair behind' referring to their large crest. It is pheasant-sized (total length 65 cm/25 in), long-necked and small-headed. It has an unfeathered blue face with maroon eyes, and its head is topped by a spiky, rufous crest. The long sooty-brown tail is broadly tipped buff. The upperparts are dark sooty-brown edged buff on the wings coverts, and streaked buff on the mantle and nape. The underparts are buff, while the crissum, primaries, underwing coverts and flanks are rich rufous-chestnut, but this is mainly visible when it opens its wings. The alternative name of "stinkbird" is derived from the bird's manure-like odour, caused by their digestative system.

What a hoot! Do you actually think Chuck Norris's hands and feet are fast enough to stop one of RAMBO's weapons of death? In any event anyone who votes on a candidate, because they are endorsed by a movie star is a down to the bone left wing liberal who wants the status quo to continue for the Democrat party.

She'd just been raped in her bedroom, hacked and slashed in the face, head, hands and neck with a butcher blade until her mattress and pillows were slick with blood and the white bones of her pinky finger were exposed, in her words, like a split "chicken wing."

A fossilized shark tooth, a tiny raku hand, a mouse bone, a jewel beetle wing, a seahorse, and a coral branch

Peter Jackson is working on 'The Lovely Bones' and he's waiting to make the big screen version of 'Halo.' And he's also playing Mr. Miyaga to a young pup of a filmmaker, standing in the wings while his protege makes the new sci-fi flick, 'District 9.'

A spectacular, high-res photo snapped by USAF SSgt. Shelley R. Gill, a photographer with the Florida Air National Guard 125th Fighter Wing. Somewhere in Southwest Asia on January 16, 2004, probably on an island where the U.S. has a strong military presence, she saw this USAF B-1B Lancer bomber put on a Mach 0.9 fly-by show and her camera was ready.
