Software vendor Smarter Agent is claiming several GPS/mobile-related patents, incl. one that covers receiving location identifiers based on geographic location. This would seem to cover what the iPhone does with its map, as well as GPS-equipped Blackberries, and Google's Android. Apple, RIM, & Google are apparently already infringing. Big trouble?
