I thought I would share this quaint little article I found regarding the cuisine of Costa Rica. It's neat seeing how Costa Rica's geographic location allows the culture to absorb many traditions of nearby Latin countries. This beautiful land is a melting pot of cuisine and countless Spanish-influenced traditions. This makes me want to go visit!
Here in the US, we tend to forget that some civilizations and cultures go way back. The people of Oaxaca (Mexico) prove us that Spanish is not the only language spoken south of the border. They treat insects as food delicacies and spice up their mezcal with scorpions. It is a big world out there.
