A 4,000 mile hike across Europe raised over £5,000 for the Red Cross in 2003-4.One of the hikers is now attempting to raise money for the John Muir Trust by undertaking a sponsored blog about the walk. The blog, to which an extra day's coverage of the walk story will be added every couple of days, will take 2 years to complete.
