Goats Head Soup is an album by The Rolling Stones released in 1973. It was recorded as the follow-up to 1972's critically acclaimed Exile on Main St. Goats Head Soup was a more polished production than the raw and ragged Exile. It reflected the resurgence of soul-pop and the rise of funk, while maintaining the Stones' distinctive rock sound. It spawned the hit single "Angie," possibly its best known track, and topped the charts in the United States and United Kingdom.

If it weren’t for its great music, Head would be impossible to sit through. It might even induce seizures. But the 1998 DVD issue of the film at least makes everything look and sound brighter and groovier, so when Jack Nicholson, Teri Garr, Frank Zappa (with a goat!) and Annette Funicello pop up, at least it’s clearer to see.

The smiling children giggled as they patted the young goat on its head and tickled it behind the ears.Some of the more boisterous ones tried to clamber onto the animal's back but were soon shaken off with a quick wiggle of its bottom.It could have been a happy scene from a family zoo anywhere in the world but for what happened next.
