A man who told a 911 operator he killed his girlfriend and cooked parts of her body faces a capital murder charge, authorities said. Deputies responding to the 911 call found a gruesome scene: a human ear boiling in a pot on a stovetop.

TYLER -- A man held on a capital murder charge in the death of his 21-year-old girlfriend tried to cook and eat her body before police arrived, authorities said today.

American Electric Power Company Inc.'s Michigan nuclear unit is getting more than $70 million in capital improvements while it undergoes a routine refueling. The dextrorotatory isomer dextromethamphetamine can be prescribed to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, though unmethylated amphetamine is more commonly prescribed.
