1500 calorie meal plan

Socializing with my friends usually involve food. Though we usually do something active (usually bowling) prior to dinner, the intensity of our activity is so low, it does not cancel out the 1,500 – 2,000 calories meal. These are the strategies I am going to try to decrease the amount I am eating when I am with friends.
There are two considerations we must not overlook when losing weight. They are calorie intake and the nutritional quality of the food. Woman should eat around 1500 calories while men should eat around 2500 calories. If you ever calorie counted before this may require intensive work.
If you aim to be on a daily diet of 1500 calories, you should plan to get about 900 calories a day from grains, fruits and vegetables. Chris blogs about a healthy low calorie diet. I don't recommend so many carbs (check out the comments for our discussion). Nevertheless it's an appealing post with good pictures and tips.
Calories do count. But they are not the only thing that counts. The person that eats a 1500 calorie diet of tuna and green vegetables will look considerably better than the person who eats a 1500 calorie diet of soda and bacon....even if they weigh the same amount.
